Women’s final in French open witnessed one of the shortest grand slam finals ever played. It was 4th June 1988, Steffi Graf of Germany took Natalia Zvereva of Soviet Union at Roland Garros in a one sided final where Steffi Graf thrashed Natalia Zvereva 6-0 and 6-0 in straight sets which lasted for mere 34 minutes. Right from the start, Steffi Graf was playing fascinating tennis and Natalia was nowhere match to her due to complete dominance by Steffi Graf. Later Steffi Graf went on to win all the Grand Slam titles for the year 1988 and also went on the win gold medal in Seoul Olympics, thus become first player to win Golden Slam in a Calendar year.
